The Neon Tea Party is Coming to the Lou!

Pom Pom Workshop - March 14, 2019

We are beyond thrilled to announce that Marisa Morrison from The Neon Tea Party is coming to lead our first workshop! You can find Marisa and TNTP on Instagram @theneonteaparty - her feed is wonderfully bright and cheerful and it makes you want to get in there and play with ALL THE COLORS!

When the opportunity came up for Marisa to travel to St. Louis, I just knew this was the perfect way for The Curious Crafter to launch. I mean, come on, who doesn’t love pom poms?! In this workshop, you will learn how to make pom poms and tassels and leave with a pom-tassel charm you can hang on your purse, beach bag, backpack, or anywhere else you might need a splash of color in your life!

Recently, I made a pom pom garland to use as decoration for my niece’s bridal shower. It was so fun and quick to make - and I love how it looks hanging above the fireplace.

There are pom pom garlands decorating nurseries, dorm rooms, office cubicles, and party rooms. Pom poms add a festive flair everywhere they go. Marisa’s Instagram feed and website are filled with inspiration for your pom pom adventure!

The Curious Crafter has over 38 colors of Omegacryl yarn in stock, as well as a variety of Loome tools, and everything else you’ll need to go pom pom wild.

The fee for this class is $55, and includes all the supplies you will need to get you started, including a Loome tool and a ball of Omegacryl yarn.

You can sign up for Marisa’s class here - and don’t delay - space is limited!

Make stuff. Have fun. Stay Curious.
